57cm/22in Kettle Offset Plate 304SS
Guaranteed Safe Checkout
Turn your Weber kettle into a more efficient, versatile BBQ with our 57cm (22”) Stainless Steel Offset Plate, now our number one selling product and trusted by 100s of Australians.
Designed specifically for 57cm (22") Weber-style kettles, the offset plate sits on the charcoal grate to create clearly defined direct and indirect cooking zones while improving airflow through your charcoal. Instead of heat and smoke circulating randomly, air is drawn from the bottom vent, through the charcoal, across your food and out the top vent, delivering cleaner burns, better temperature control and more consistent cooking. The offset plate sits nicely on the charcoal grate, it has allowance for a genuine weber basket or you can run it bare (We recommend the baskets to ensure not damage to the kettle bowl)
Whether you’re smoking a brisket, roasting a whole chicken, reverse searing steaks or cooking low and slow, the offset plate helps your kettle perform like a convection oven while using less fuel.
Installation
The Offset Plate is designed to sit directly on your charcoal grate (the lower grate inside your kettle), not the cooking grill. It can be used on its own or with a genuine Weber Charcoal Basket. We recommend using the basket to keep the charcoal contained and help prevent unnecessary wear to the kettle bowl. If you choose to run the plate without the basket, the offset plate can hold approximately twice the charcoal capacity of a genuine Weber Charcoal Basket, making it ideal for longer cooks.

Typical Burn Times
One of the questions we get asked the most is, “How long will my charcoal last?”
While burn times will vary depending on weather, charcoal brand, vent settings and cooking temperature, here’s what we’ve found using quality briquettes:
|
Setup |
Approx. Burn Time |
Best For |
|
Full basket, lit |
2 hours |
Steaks, burgers, hot & fast grilling @ 220-240C |
|
Half lit / Half unlit |
3 to 4 hours |
Roasting, chicken, shorter offset cooks @ 180C |
|
10 lit over full basket (Minion Method) |
8 to 10 hours |
Brisket, pork shoulder, ribs and overnight cooks @ 120C |
Note: Burn times and temps are approx only and highly depend on the brand and quality of fuel. We use Heatbeads Red for all of our testing.
Because the offset plate directs airflow through the charcoal rather than around it, you’ll get a cleaner, more efficient burn and better temperature control throughout your cook.
If you’re serious about getting the most out of your Weber kettle, this is one accessory you’ll wonder how you ever BBQ’d without.
