From a single Weber to a full workshop dream
I've always had a passion for design and metalwork. In 2023, at the age of 33, I made the leap to turn that passion into a full-time career with the support of my amazing family.
My journey into BBQ started back in 2019 when I found my first kerbside Weber kettle just three doors up from home. That little discovery sparked something bigger. It was the universe’s way of telling me to dive into the world of BBQ.
Being able to combine my love for BBQ with my background in design and fabrication has been a dream come true. Taking an idea from a sketch, turning it into a real product, and seeing it come to life through my own hands is what CLD Fabrication is all about.
We're not just online
What started as a small side project in my workshop has now grown to see CLD Fabrication products stocked in some incredible BBQ stores across Australia.
From local retailers to well-known BBQ specialists, it’s been amazing to see our gear sitting on the same shelves that once inspired me. Every partnership is a reminder of how far this journey has come and how much community support has meant along the way.

We’re lucky to work with an amazing group of BBQ enthusiasts, pitmasters, and creators who use and showcase our gear every day. They push the limits of what can be cooked outdoors and inspire the community with their creativity and honest feedback. Their input helps us refine our products so they perform just as well in the backyard as they do on the competition stage.
We work closely with this awesome group, encouraging them to be honest with their feedback, whether it’s private messages about new designs or public reviews seen by thousands. Their input drives us to keep improving and making products that perform just as well in their backyards as they do on the competition stage.
